LNC ministries are designed to meet the needs of the people who are part of the local body. A conscious effort has been made to meet current needs without creating programs. Because of this our ministries may, and do, change based upon the needs of the church. Below we have listed the current needs and ministries of LifeNow Church.
Our worship & praise ministry is led by Cody Lewis and includes various members of our church body singing and playing instruments as well as a technical/media team. Praise team practice is usually on Thursday evenings at 6:30. Our praise music is a blend of contemporary praise and worship and hymns.
Sandie Stevenson leads our ladies ministry, LOL (Ladies of LifeNow). We have times of fellowship, Bible studies, game days and service projects.
The teens and young adults meet each Sunday evening at 6:30 for life discussion, encouragement and fun. You can also plug into game nights, movie nights, and outings for more fun and fellowship.
On Thursday nights, our young adults meet at local restaurants for fellowship, snacks, and bible study.
Under Brenda Melnik's able leadership, our benevolence ministry is a church-wide effort. This ministry is designed to meet urgent needs in our church community, to offer comfort and encouragement to those in the hospital, sick, or unable to attend church meetings, and to help during difficult times or times of grief.
Angie Cartagena is always busy making sure our church is open and inviting. She organizes and leads Refreshen Days, when we gather to make sure our building is in it's best possible shape. We are very grateful for the meeting space God has blessed us with and we want it to show!
Alan Encinosa leads our Psalms 1 Men's Group. The goal of LNC's men's group is to encourage and build up Christian men in their faith, their Christian practice and in living a disciplined, gracious life in Christ. LNC men love Jesus, love their families and love their church family. They share Christ in helpful, practical ways with their neighbors and co-workers and are concerned about the greatest commandment: Love God and love others.
